Our Company Mission & Values
The MTP Mission Statement is to “Become the preferred provider of remanufacturing services for military tactical vehicles and vehicle repair parts.” This mission statement does not simply end there, it carries on in our desire and strong belief in supporting our men and women powerfully and making sure they come home safely. This mindset enables us to focus on the long term sustainment of military vehicle parts worldwide. MTP maintains inventory of repair and OEM replacement parts for vehicles from the old M35 to the current MATV, Route Clearance Vehicles (RCV) and many MRAP variants.
To accomplish this mission, MTP focuses on maximizing industry-leading technology and best practices to provide superior remanufactured components and demonstrates commitment to our customers by providing responsive, fanatical support. We have employees who are veterans going back to the Vietnam War to keep our knowledge of older vehicles while we continue to employ military mechanics and warrant officers to refresh our knowledge on current vehicles.
- Personal Growth
Respect for one another by following the “Golden Rule”. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. This value means that profanity, yelling, and harassment are not tolerated. Respect shows itself in our company uniforms and dress code as well as in our appreciation for our Armed Forces.
Integrity shows up in how business is conducted every day. From the processes we have to make sure we stay in compliance with every contract requirement to the efforts taken to stay in compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations. In a world where many companies compromise their integrity to win a contract or cut costs, we understand that our fighting men and women deserve our best efforts to do what we committed to do and do it right.
As with our military customers, using the chain of command to communicate is important. Being able to flow down process and contract requirements to each employee enables MTP to maintain consistency in direction. The other side of communication in our workplace is an open door policy, a Suggestion Box, and a request that everyone be courteous with each other, with our suppliers, and with our customers.
As employees are our most important asset, MTP has established career paths in a variety of disciplines within our workplace whether in supply chain, machining, facility maintenance, or other jobs. We encourage our employees to cross-train in completely different fields as well as receive education and training in their current field to progress up the career ladder. The flexibility of our workforce helps us be efficient while maintaining competency.
Lastly, cleanliness is a value that one doesn’t normally think of but it is an immediate reflection of our company. We realize that cleanliness in the workplace leads to better efficiency, better inventory control, decreased safety incidents, and an overall better attitude of our workforce.
